Emmalee and Timothy’s
Marriage Proposal
Timothy and Emmalee first met in college through a mutual friend. They hit it off and went on their first date within a week. In less than two months, they became a couple and met each other’s families. They continued to date throughout college, but they had to switch to a long-distance relationship when the pandemic hit. Timothy graduated early and returned home to Georgia, while Emmalee finished her undergraduate degree and moved to Columbus, OH, for grad school. What was once a local relationship became a 10-hour drive long-distance relationship. Timothy and Emmalee spent two years traveling back and forth to see each other, occasionally meeting in the middle for a day or two before Timothy had to go back to work and Emmalee back to school.
Timothy recently went to Columbus for five days to visit Emmalee. On a Monday night, after she had finished her classes for the day, they enjoyed dinner and a stroll in the beautiful Park of Roses. Timothy gifted Emmalee a photo album containing pictures of all their adventures together, and on the last page, there was a blank space for one more picture. Little did she know that the missing photo would be their engagement picture, as Timothy proposed right after. The proposal was perfect, and they couldn’t have been happier. They shared the news with their loved ones via phone and Facetime, and the reactions and excitement they received will remain unforgettable.

Wedding Day
On the day of Timothy and Emmalee’s wedding, there was rain in the morning. However, the weather cleared up just in time for their photo shoot, and the sun came out. The wedding photographer captured stunning pictures of the couple, which were enhanced by the amazing weather after the rain. As they didn’t see each other before the ceremony, Emmalee’s walk down the aisle to become Timothy’s wife was a surreal moment for her. The wedding occurred at All Saints Parish, and the reception was held at the Manor House in Mason, OH. The couple’s guests made the day even more special and enjoyable. Emmalee had a large family in attendance, while Timothy’s friends and family traveled from Georgia and Chicago. They also had eleven bridesmaids and groomsmen each. Timothy and Emmalee feel incredibly blessed to have many people who love and support them, especially on their wedding day.

Bridal & Formal
Experience
My trip to Bridal and Formal was my second stop on my quest to find the perfect wedding dress. I felt anxious after my first store experience, but I was hopeful Bridal and Formal would be different. I brought along a whole crew of family members to help me choose, including my mom, grandma, aunt, maid of honor, mother-in-law, and sister-in-law. Luckily, Mariah was my consultant, and she was an absolute gem. She was so sweet and patient while I tried on what felt like a million dresses. Mariah even picked out some gorgeous options for me, but in the end, I chose a dress I had spotted myself. After we left the store, my family couldn’t stop gushing about how excellent Mariah was and how thoughtful she was throughout the whole process.
