The Proposal

Jenna & Alec
Jenna & Alec met at Xavier University in the elevator of their sophomore dorm. However, when a mutual friend reintroduced them a few months later, they started talking and dating!
Alec proposed after they had been dating for 2 years and 8 months. Jenna & Alec’s parents hadn’t met (thanks, COVID 🙁 ) yet, and Jenna had planned for all of them to go out to eat since they had been discussing marriage. Alec piggybacked off of that dinner and had help from Jenna’s friends (who shockingly were able to keep this from Jenna) setting up a spot at Alms Park. After dinner, Alec suggested they go to the park since it wasn’t too late… little did Jenna know he had everything planned, and a whole bunch of their friends and family were there to surprise Jenna & Alec and celebrate with them after Alec proposed. Alec even had a photographer there to capture it all. It was perfect!
The Wedding
of
Jenna & Alec
Jenna & Alec’s day was absolutely perfect. All of our best friends and families were in town all weekend. The day started at 9am when they got to the venue to set up/decorate and create hair and make-up. It was amazing to see everything Jenna had been planning and working on for a year come together, and she adored all of their vendors; they truly loved their work and made their wedding so special. Jenna & Alec’s wedding party and family also made the day special. Alec and Jenna wrote letters to their parents, but they didn’t know that Jenna’s twin sister and maid of honor had everyone write letters to them… Jenna was sobbing, getting her hair done, just feeling so loved. Alec and Jenna made the first touch to read our notes to each other. That was Jenna’s favorite part of the day, with God promising to love each other forever. After that, it was one thing after another – pictures, then the ceremony, and more pictures, dinner and dancing, and more pictures!! Everything happened without a hitch (thank you, Jesus). Alec and Jenna couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day!!

It was effortless to make an appointment online, and everyone was so welcoming and sweet when we got there. I liked how Bridal & Formal had us pick out dresses!
I worked with Lacrecia – she’s AMAZING. I said yes to the second dress I put on (also one she had picked out); however, not right away… I returned to two other stores because we were comparing everything to this dress. Lacrecia let me put it on again and even made me go outside to see it in the sunlight before I said yes… she’s incredible!
